Piwigo PHP photo gallery script.

I have tried out a large amount of photo gallery scrips over the past years but non of them have suited my needs. However for a few weeks ago I decided to give Piwigo a goo and I must say that I might have found what I searched for for several years! Piwigo PHP photo gallery script is easy to set up and does have a intuitive user/administration interface that anyone will manage to use. And you can actually use Piwigo even if you are a complete novice to webdesign or doesn’t own a web server or have a web hotel contract all thanks to the affordable web hosting contracts that are offered with Piwigo installation at there website from $3.25/mo.

When you are done with the installation and your gallery is up and running you will probably feel that you would like to put some personal style to it. A god start for this would be to take a look at the large amount of themes and plugins that are available to see if there is something that suit your needs and liking.

If you still isn’t happy with the look and feel it is also possible to easily (relatively) to change and tweak the look of an already existing theme/template like font, font color, background color, icons etc.

In my case I wanted to get the Piwigo gallery to match the look of my already existing website so I had to tweak the gallery to include my main menu (Written in PHP and JS) I also reused my main site banner and the color scheme that I use, finally I adjusted the width to match. Most of those adjustments was quite easy to accomplish some required some code investigation and additional plugins.
This is how my implementation looks http://www.stockholmviews.com/gallery/

I have found my personal favorite gallery script – Piwigo!
